What's in your journal: My journal is a few weeks old, but so far I have talked about my job, things I've bought, my fandoms, those regular kinds of things.
What rating is your journal: I guess, it's okay for anyone to read at the moment, but I would say +16.
Favourite Sherlock series/movie(s): I enjoy Basil Rathbone's portrayal of Sherlock (I have the complete DVD boxset), Jeremy Brett's and Benedict Cumberbatch too. I also like watching The Adventures of Shirley Holmes, and have done so since it was on CBBC when I was a teenager!
Favourite Sherlock character(s): Right now my favourite is Moriarty from the recent BBC's "Sherlock." He is just too smooth!
Favourite Sherlock pairing(s): I'm not terribly into slash but I like hints of romance between the BBC's Sherlock and John.
Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: Reading is my favourite past-time and I collect books. I read all kinds of genres but the majority of my little library is made up of (what I call) "vintage" horror (Victorian and Edwardian <3), murder myseries (I have almost every book by Agatha Christie) and illustrated childrens books (books from The Church Mice series, the Dinotopia series, Richard Scarry's books etc.)
My favourite book of all time is Finn Family Moomintroll by Tove Jansson.
I am learning to cook, yes at age 25 and have been enjoying that recently. I like playing with my Pug puppy Montolio, playing PC games co-op with my boyfriend and walking by the seaside, near my flat. I'm more of a homebody, if you couldn't tell. :)

What's in your journal: Generally a variety of things--I'm also in the Doctor Who fandom, so I have some fanfic and ramblings on that. Sometimes I ramble about classic movies, Star Trek, adventures, history, funny things that happen, literature and writing, weird ideas I have, and avoiding work I have to do. I'm starting to talk a bit more about Sherlock Holmes stuff, though. :)
What rating is your journal: I keep it on a "discretion is advised" default just to be on the safe side (because some of it is), but the vast majority of the journal itself is probably ranging somewhere between G and PG-13.
Favourite Sherlock series/movie(s): Sherlock Holmes never really clicked for me until the Granada Holmes series, so that's probably my favourite, though I've grown to love many versions.
Favourite Sherlock character(s): John Watson!
Favourite Sherlock pairing(s): Johnlock's the OTP, but I have this psychotic need to pair Molly/Raz (aka, the spraypaint guy) for some unknown reason.
Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: Lots of reading and writing, going to Broadway plays (and other plays) when I can, occasionally listening to opera, going to museums, going to ALL THE CAVES, travelling, editing stuff for people.

What's in your journal: I think it's a living definition of eclectic: Sherlock fan fiction, my attempts at photography, reviews of books, theatre, films and events I've attended, general ramblings on my life, bits about WWI and the Afghanistan conflict, poetry- original and other people's, original fiction in the form of short stories, bits and bobs on the Arthurian legends. Yes, definitely eclectic!
What rating is your journal: For the most part it's PG-13, even the fan fic, but there will be times when it rises. Anything mature or explicit is/will be very clearly marked and under a cut.
Favourite Sherlock series/movie(s): I am equally in love, for different reasons, with ACD canon, Granada's TV series and BBC Sherlock. I'm most active in the BBC Sherlock fandom though.
Favourite Sherlock character(s): I am, most of the time, a Sherlock girl all the way but John Watson in the BBC series holds a special place in my heart, as does Molly Hooper.
Favourite Sherlock pairing(s): ACD canon - Watson/Mary, Holmes/Watson and the same for the Granada series. BBC Sherlock - Johnlock is my OTP but I also adore Molly/Lestrade and have quite a soft spot for Mystrade as well.
Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: First and foremost, I write (currently WWI, Afghanistan and Arthurian legends - not all at the same time). I love photography, especially landscapes, flowers and buildings. I read a lot and seem to be breeding books in my house (over 1500 at last count) and I have a black Labrador called Marmite who allows me to indulge my love of walking and fluffing doggie ears :) I'm also passionate about British History, especially the Tudor/Elizabethan period, the Wars of the Roses and the Dark Ages (I want King Arthur to have been real) and I'm not bad at baking, if I do say so myself.

However I lurk on the fringes of Doctor Who, Discworld, LoTR & The Hobbit (the books as well as the films), Bond, John Le Carre's Smiley books, Tamora Pierce's Tortall series, The Avengers, Star Trek, Pirates of the Caribbean ... I could go on. I adore all things Disney too.

Favourite Sherlock series/movie(s): BBC, Arthur Conan Doyle... Maybe Elementary... Maybe.
Favourite Sherlock character(s): All of them. Yeah... I'm sure this sounds awful, but for the BBC version I think I like Moriarty as much as Sherlock... or almost as much... Lol, oops.
Favourite Sherlock pairing(s): I'll ship Sherlock with anyone for fun, but John and Sherlock is the only ship I really take seriously. And even then, it's almost a nonsexual relationship... but I like them together, romantically or just as friends. It doesn't make much difference to me.
Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: academics. a lot of academics. science (physics), politics, philosophy, literature... Academics are a core part of my personality...

What you do in fandom: RP, fan-fic, analysis... Try to think about how the stories relate to "RL" and use them to better conceptualize myself and the world... I also try to work on being a better and more imaginative, more thoughtful, more expressive writer.

What's in your journal: Not much, I used to keep an LJ when I was in college, but then LJ changed and gradschool ate my life. I plan on using my Dreamwidth account for fanfiction/Nano whinging only.
What rating is your journal: It'll have some adult content.
Favourite Sherlock series/movie(s): I was never a huge Conan Doyle fan (I prefer G. K. Chesterton's Father Brown mysteries) but after discovering the BBC version I've been making enjoyable headway through the canon stories. I adore Granada Holmes. I've seen both of the Downey Jr. movies and enjoyed them, although I keep forgetting they were about Sherlock Holmes. :x
Favourite Sherlock character(s): I love all the BBC characters (with qualifications for Irene), in particular the changes and additions-- Lestrade, Mycroft, Mrs. Hudson, and Molly, in particular. I tend to sympathize with/POV Sherlock the most, though.
Favourite Sherlock pairing(s): I'm not much of a shipper, but I've found myself reading more John/Sherlock fanfiction than I ever could have anticipated.
Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: Too many to name here. I'm an anime and comics fan, too. I was an English major in undergrad and read to breathe. I'm currently finishing up my M.Ed. in Environmental Education, and have a singular adoration of honey bees. They've become the focus of my capstone project (specifically: educating against fear, teaching children the many roles of and proper behavior toward bees).

I'm also a member of the SCP Foundation, which is a superb horror writing collab-- but I've yet to find any fellow members in fandom.
What you do in fandom: Get lost. @_@ Sherlock was my gateway to tumblr, and I'm still finding my way back. I write a lot that I don't finish, so this fandom has really become the goalpost for developing my limited artistic and fiction writing skills.

Favourite Sherlock series/movie(s): I was never a huge Conan Doyle fan (I prefer G. K. Chesterton's Father Brown mysteries) but after discovering the BBC version I've been making enjoyable headway through the canon stories. I adore Granada Holmes. I've seen both of the Downey Jr. movies and enjoyed them, although I keep forgetting they were about Sherlock Holmes. :x
Favourite Sherlock character(s): I love all the BBC characters (with qualifications for Irene), in particular the changes and additions-- Lestrade, Mycroft, Mrs. Hudson, and Molly, in particular. I tend to sympathize with/POV Sherlock the most, though.
Favourite Sherlock pairing(s): I'm not much of a shipper, but I've found myself reading more John/Sherlock fanfiction than I ever could have anticipated.
Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: Too many to name here. I'm an anime and comics fan, too. I was an English major in undergrad and read to breathe. I'm currently finishing up my M.Ed. in Environmental Education, and have a singular adoration of honey bees. They've become the focus of my capstone project (specifically: educating against fear, teaching children the many roles of and proper behavior toward bees).

Other fandoms you like: Besides both of the most recent Sherlock Holmes adaptations (aka Ritchie & BBC) and their book origins (aka Doyle!canon), I also love, Love, LOVE the following "8" others: Doctor Who (BOTH Classic and New), Firefly/Serenity, Castle, The Mentalist, Stargate: Atlantis, The Glades, Ugly Betty, and the extended Marvel movie 'verse, especially if it's Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and/or (the going-to-be-an-incredibly-climaxing-nirvana-of-a-movie also known as) The Avengers. :D :D :D

I think the translation to a broader audience yielded some interesting changes to the characters which I have enjoyed exploring. For further explanation, read more here. What rating is your journal: Nothing is off limits and I hold Stephen Fry's view on swearing- So- be warned :P
Favourite Sherlock series/movie(s): I prefer the Granada series. Jeremy Brett = Sherlock Holmes. Almost to the point of ruining the role for anyone else. Was not a fan of the first RDJ movie, but I love the second. Of course how much that is due to the man you see above being in it... I can't say :P I enjoy the new BBC series and enjoy it for what it is, but it isn't truly Sherlock Holmes to me. My true Sherlock fandom love is for the stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle themselves.
